Many years ago this was posted on Avalanchers forum (Godflesh related groupies forum), and since then I've seen it circulating only around Soulseek, so here it is.

A very lo-fi demo for die-hard fans only. If you're into this blog than you probably know these names, and if you know the names you can probably guess what this sounds like.
5 untitled tracks, track 2's line sounds like a slowed up version of Sweet Tooth's Soul Shark opening bass, if you need a general idea of what you're going to hear.
Wish we could get to hear more of this with better audio.

I'm always on the lookout for 2012's official "In Camera" and not gonna buy a pricey second hand DVD for 3 songs on discogs. Also looking for a track called "Brujita", released on "Double of Love Volume Uno" compilation. If you have those or anything else interesting, don't spare us please.

3 Gordons

As is often the case, don't have too much info about these folks. Two guys from Vienna I think (plus a drum machine from Japan ?) released the first album, later to be joined by a drummer right in time for the recording of their mini-cd. Nothing special here, casual 90's alternative rock, american style, some metallic vibes on occasion. Not bad at all though.
Could never put my hands on their second album, 1995's In Yoland, so if you have it and feel like sharing..

Thule

Graeme Milton, Graham Perkins, Simon Doling, Martin Byrne

With all due respect to both Norwegian groups (which there isn't much actually), the only one trve Thule that matters were this London group formed around 1987.
Now, while they didn't got much name outside local Camden scene, let alone England, they deserved much more appreciation for their unique experimental leftfield big beat/dub/industrial post rock. Yap, that's pretty much how they sounded like, making a brilliant british link from the 80's to the 90's, while performing mostly in western european countries and leaving not much recorded audio out there to document that.
Their old myspace page credits a long list of musicians in the line up, though I believe only the first five listed here were the main core, correct me if I'm wrong:

Their first 12", 1988's Dr. Lloyd, I've never managed to get, but two tracks out of it were featured on later releases, leaving us with only two tracks missing from their discography. Here's what I first thought of them before even knowing about Simon Doling's connection- "Terminal Cheesecake joining forces with WDE trying to mimic how Bark Psychosis would sound playing big beat records". Really, they fuse it all through industrialish very early big beat with dub touches plus heavy/ noisy rock tracks (Disko Beach, Dynamo, Murderball and few more).
Influences on myspace said to be Chrome, Kraftwerk, Tackhead, Can, 23 Skidoo, Cabaret Voltaire.. (and if I may add Finitribe, Slab!, Meat Beat Manifesto ?)
Later on Perkins, Milton and Byrne joined forces with Jason White acting as 95 Nil, playing pretty much what they did with Thule.

Pain Teens

So.. this blog has been up a couple of years now, and so far not even one Texas band posted. I'm very ashamed and take full responsibility for this disgrace. Hence a Pain Teens bootleg archive filled with goodies for whomever it may concern.
This post includes both audio and video bootlegs recorded by many different brave souls whom I don't know, and so comes in varied qualities, some better some worse, all descent enjoyable level in my opinion.

If in any case you've wasted your teen years not knowing who Pain Teens are, you might wanna do yourself some favor and check them out. Lucky for you all of their full lengths (and the long sought rare tapes) are available on singer's Bliss Blood Bandcamp page.

Plastic Venus - Live at Roxanne, Tel Aviv, Israel

Ronit Bergman, Diamond, Hagar Magen, Yoram Gur

Even if you don't know or care who Plastic Venus are, you should definitely check this bootleg cause it contains one of the greatest cover songs ever recorded (swear to god), astonishing performance of The Sound's Winning.

Now with this being said, let me introduce to you local noise rock/shoegaze pioneers, Plastic Venus, formed in 1990, who released the following year their self titled debut album (which was actually a full live performance). Re-issued as cd in 2001 with bonus tracks. Re-issued again in 2012 as an addition to a short documentary about them.

All of these are sold out as far as I know, but the reason I won't post that great piece of music is that it supposed to be re-issued once again! this time by Captured Tracks, which I hope will happen soon. (anyway it's pretty easy to find it online, be sure that you'll check if you don't know it)
Edit: so long has passed and no news about the re-release, BUT, you can check this masterpiece on their own bandcamp! be sure you that!

1991 album is the only release of the first line up, including Yoram Gur (guitars), Ronit Bergman (vocals), Hagar Magen (bass) and Ilan "Diamond" Abramovitch (drums). Later on the group figured out they have nothing to look for in Israel, packed their stuff minus drummer and moved to London in 1993, where they released their second album, the much more shoegaze oriented Helven Park.
